Hitec C won the Good Design Long Life Design Award.
Hi-Tech C is a super-fine ballpoint pen that writes smoothly without smudging.
Since its release in 1994, it has been loved by many people as a pioneer of fine writing ballpoint pens.
Ultra thin secret 1 [Three-point support system]
The Hitec C nib has three indentations on the tip of the pipe to support a very small carbide ball. In other words, since the ball is supported by 'points', the friction area is smaller than that of a regular ballpoint pen, so the ball rotates naturally and you can write very fine characters smoothly.
Ultra-thin secret 2 [Biopolymer ink]
No matter how small the nib is, if the ink bleeds, the handwriting will not be fine. "Biopolymer ink" using a resin made from microorganisms such as yeast, even small letters are clear and do not bleed. (A 0.3mm ball achieves a handwriting width of 0.15mm.) When writing, the force of the ball's rotation turns it into a liquid state, making it smooth to write with. And because it instantly returns to its original high viscosity state on paper, it creates extremely fine handwriting without bleeding.
