This pencil is named "Enpitsu", the Japanese term for a non-mechanical wooden pencil, due to the thick lead. Available lead sizes are 0.9 mm and 1.3 mm, and they provide the versatility of a wooden pencil, allowing you to do anything from writing memos to illustrating. The soft elastomer body provides a comfortable grip. Safety features include a retractable tip that minimizes accidental pokes while the pencil is not in use. In addition, instead of a cap that could get lost, the pencil has a top that does not come off, and lead can be inserted through it without removing any parts.

This mechanical pencil is refillable with Kokuyo Mechanial Pencil Lead - 1.3 mm

The ideal EDC pencil

This pencil is the perfect combo of utility, ease of use and portability. The 1.3mm lead is strong enough to stand up to long writing sessions and the triangular rubberized body is easy to hold for extended periods without causing hand fatigue. The supplied 2B Kokuyo lead is super dark and a joy to write with.
