The newest Kuru Toga Alpha Gel Switch model features a switch function between "Kuru Toga Mode" and "Normal Mode".
"Kuru Toga Mode": With the "Lead Rotation" mechanism inside, the pencil sharpens the lead by continually rotating it whenever you lift the tip from the paper. Thus, the lead is kept in a conical tip shape that provides smooth writing or drawing and consistent lines on your paper.
"Normal Model": This model is suitable if you want to write much quicker or need a pencil for drawing.
The pencil also features a newly developed "Alpha Gel Grip" with a three-layer structure that gives it a soft and fluffy feel. It allows you to write comfortably even after long hours of use and softly absorbs finger pressure.
