The Uni-ball One pen uses a newly developed ink called "Uni-ball One". The pigment in this ink minimizes its absorption into paper fibers. Consequently, it produces brighter and more original colors on paper, resulting in a darker black than an ordinary black ink pen and more vibrant colors than other colored ink pens.
The pen has a stylish and simple barrel design, with a metal oval-shaped clip that can be easily attached to a notebook or pocket. The clip's joint part matches the ink color.
Research conducted by Ritsumeikan University in Japan suggests that letters that are dark and sharp in black ink are more memorable. As such, using a Uni-ball one gel pen with black ink may prove to be an effective tool for studying.
The Uni-ball One pen has recently launched five new limited-edition colours. These colours include Loquat, Jade, Chestnut Kinton, Bellflower, and Bean Daifuku.
